Giftbag.ae was founded in Dubai in 2011 by Latika and Sandeep Chawla with a clear purpose: to fill a gap in the UAE’s e-commerce market for a dedicated, quality-first online gift delivery platform. At the time, Dubai’s gifting sector was fragmented – great bakeries, florists, and chocolatiers existed, but there was no single trusted destination that brought it all together with personalisation, reliability, and genuine customer care.
That is what Giftbag.ae was built to be. Operating under Luxetech General Trading LLC, the business has grown since 2011 into one of Dubai’s most established online gift destinations – serving over 10,000 customers across the UAE, delivering for birthdays, anniversaries, Eid, Diwali, Christmas, corporate milestones, and every occasion in between.
We are a founder-led business. That means the people behind every decision are the same people who started this, and every order is taken seriously because our reputation depends on it. In 2025, we launched LUXERA – our own in-house chocolate and hamper brand – bringing an even more curated, premium gifting experience directly under the Giftbag.ae name.
